Alicia Hormaza is a professional who welcomes challenges, likes to work in a team, sets out to build relationships, initiates learning, aims to improve herself, and collaborates with her peers in improving operations as well as inspiring others to do their best every day. 

She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania where she received a rich education that prepared her to make critical decisions in her career and personal life.  She believes anything is possible and that a vision coupled with passion, an organized plan, and some encouragement can go a very long way.  

Alicia just made a cross-country move (from New York to Los Angeles) with the objective to expand her horizons and enlarge her circle of influenceShe currently works for the Chief Financial Officer of KUD International LLC - www.kajimausa.com/about/kud.html - and provides administrative assistance to the President and CEO, Director of Development, and Two Project Executives.  She has over 5 years of working experience in the Financial and Real Estate Industries. 

 Outside of work, Alicia enjoys playing competitive volleyball, dancing beautiful mambo (NY style), managing her own business (Kamali Studio), and volunteering for various organizations:

·        American Heart Association

          – Volunteer for the American Heart Walk and Monopoly Night

·        American Red Cross

          – Disaster Action Team Member and Safety Instructor

·        IAAP

          – Vice President of Development and CAP Chair

 

Alicia thanks her buddy – Co-President of the IAAP - David Santos CPS, for nominating her to the Vice President role and the whole Los Angeles Metropolis Chapter for voting for her.  She decided to join the IAAP in a leadership position because she valued the opportunity to contribute to the group’s goal of achieving excellence at the same time as working to increase the group’s collective professional value.  She looks forward to collaborating with the gold mine of talent and knowledge of her peers.
