Rocio Mata has worked in the administrative profession for over ten years.  Her career in administration spans several industries including:  Finance, Accounting, Insurance, Telecommunications and Sales.

After looking for an opportunity to learn and grow, she encountered IAAP^® and joined May of 2002.  When she joined the chapter, she found a group of professionals that were friendly and willing to share their knowledge.   She also found an opportunity to attend low-cost meetings where she could learn new skills that would be useful in her career.  To date, through IAAP, Rocio has successfully created and launched a new web site (www.iaap-losangeles.org) webmaster for two IAAP chapters (Los Angeles-Metropolis and Pasadena) and networked with various professionals and companies.  Rocio credits her recent successes to the board team when she joined: David R. Santos CAP, Sharon Pizzo CAP and Deborah Freeman.
