Costs & Benefits of Membership
Professional dues are paid on an annual basis.
Dues breakdown is as follows:
One-time processing fee is $15;
Annual IAAP dues are $58;
Chapter dues are $20; (first year for IAAP-Los Angeles is free)
And division dues are $18
-a total membership fee of $111.00.
The membership cost is reduced by the one-time processing fee ($15) after the first year.
Student dues are also paid on an annual basis.

Other information you should know:
If you move, you can transfer your membership if a chapter exists, or you can become a
member-at-large but, note that dues are non-refundable. If you need to discontinue membership
when renewal comes up and you submit a letter of resignation to the Chapter, you can rejoin
without having to pay the $15 processing fee. If your membership is dropped for non-payment of
the dues, then you would be charged the processing fee again if you rejoin. Membership in a
professional association is evidence of your commitment to excellence as a team member.
